Before You Begin – Please Read

The purpose of collecting these stories is to create a powerful, emotional, eye-opening book that people will want to buy, share, and talk about. This project is not just about explaining what happened — it is about telling your experience in a way that helps others understand the psychology behind these scams and the emotional damage they create.

To make this book meaningful, we are asking you to include the elements that make real stories compelling. These are NOT requirements — but they will help your story connect with readers and potentially save someone else from becoming a victim.

What to Include to Help Make This Book a Best Seller:

• 1. A clear beginning — how did it start?
  Who contacted you? What did you believe? Why did it feel real?
• 2. The emotional hook — what pulled you in?
  Did they make you feel special? Smart? Lucky? Chosen? Connected? Did they talk to you every day?
• 3. The “trust-building” phase — what signs made you feel safe?
  Screenshots, fake dashboards, believable numbers, daily messages, love-bombing, strong logic, pressure, or investment talk.
• 4. Early warning signs — were there any?
  This is extremely important. Describe any moment that made you pause:
  strange requests, inconsistent stories, emotional manipulation, rushed decisions, weird payment methods.
  Also share why you ignored those red flags — fear of missing out, embarrassment, excitement, emotional attachment, or believing you were already in too deep.
• 5. The turning point — when did it shift?
  The first red flag that mattered. The first doubt. The moment something didn’t add up.
• 6. The loss — what happened when you sent money?
  How much? Over how long? What excuses did they use? How did they push for more?
• 7. The collapse — when it all fell apart.
  Locked accounts, demands for fees, blocked chats, threats, silence — whatever happened in your case.
• 8. The aftermath — the real cost.
  Money, debt, embarrassment, shame, lost friends, fights at home, emotional damage, anxiety, sleepless nights, trust issues.
• 9. The moment of truth — when you realized it was a scam.
  What happened? What did you feel? What was the exact moment?
• 10. The fallout — what you did afterward.
  Bank disputes, police reports, friends/family reactions, trying to fix it, being ignored — all of this matters.
• 11. A message to others — what you wish people knew.
  This ending gives the story its emotional punch and may save someone from losing everything.

Your story does not need to be perfect, long, or polished. It just needs to be honest and detailed. We will edit for clarity, flow, and privacy while preserving the truth of what happened.
