Rights, Permission & Revenue Share
Thank you for trusting us with your story. This project exists to expose the DIR scam, tell the truth about what happened, educate the public, and raise funds to help the very victims whose stories make this book possible.
By signing below, you give Eric F Gilbert and VizzyBrand Publishing permission to use your submitted story in books, articles, interviews, videos, or other educational and awareness projects related to this scam.
This includes permission to:
- Edit your story for clarity, length, and flow (without changing the truth of what happened).
- Publish your story in print, digital, audio, or video formats.
- Combine your story with other stories, timelines, or themed chapters.
No Guarantee of Inclusion
Submitting your story does not guarantee that it will be included in the final book or any related project. All submissions will be reviewed, and only stories that fit the structure and needs of the project will be selected.
Revenue / Commission Split
After direct publishing costs, printing costs, platform fees, and basic administration are covered, net revenue from the book and directly related projects will be divided as follows:
- 50% — Victims’ Relief Fund — Managed by ReliefRise.org (a shared pool used to support awareness, education, and victim-focused assistance related to this scam)
- 25% — Eric F Gilbert (author: writing, research, interviews, production)
- 25% — VizzyBrand Publishing (editing, design, publishing, distribution, marketing, administration)
The Victims’ Relief Fund is a shared pool (managed by ReliefRise.org), not an individual royalty program. Contributors do not receive automatic or guaranteed payments. Funds may include direct help to individual victims on a case-by-case basis when possible and appropriate, at the discretion of the fund manager or nonprofit handling those resources.
